Antalya Airport Transfer Times & Distances to Every Resort

If you have just booked a holiday on the Antalya coast, the first practical question is simple: how far is my resort from the airport, and how long will the drive take? This guide gives you the real distances, honest drive times and fixed transfer prices for every resort we serve, from 12 km Lara to 220 km Kalkan, so you can plan your arrival day properly.

Antalya Airport transfer distances and times, at a glance

The table below shows the road distance from Antalya Airport (AYT) to each resort, the typical private-car drive time in normal traffic, and our fixed one-way price for the whole vehicle (up to 7 passengers). Round trips save 10%.

These are door-to-door private-car times. A shared hotel shuttle that stops at several resorts first can easily take twice as long, which we explain below.

Why the distance matters for your booking

Distance is not just trivia. It decides three things about your holiday. First, your arrival time: a 12 km hop to Lara means you are by the pool within the hour, while a 220 km run to Kalkan is a half-day journey you will want to plan around. Second, your price: transfers are priced by distance, so knowing the figure helps you sanity-check any quote. Third, your day trips: a resort 65 km east like Side is well placed for the eastern ancient sites, while Kemer at 55 km west suits the mountains and the cable car. Choosing where to stay is partly about where you want to spend your time, and our destinations page lays out every option side by side.

The close resorts: Lara, Kundu and Konyaaltı (12 to 20 km)

Lara and the neighbouring Kundu hotel zone are the closest resort areas to Antalya Airport, which is why they hold so many of the big themed all-inclusive hotels. From wheels-down to hotel lobby is often under 30 minutes. Konyaaltı, on the western side of the city under the Beydağları mountains, is a little further at around 20 km because you cross the city, but it is still a short, easy run and puts you near central Antalya and the old town.

The golf and family belt: Belek and Göynük (35 to 47 km)

Belek is Turkey's golf and luxury-resort capital, home to championship courses and the Land of Legends theme park. At 35 km it is a comfortable 35-minute drive on the fast O-21 and D400 roads. On summer Saturdays, the changeover day for many hotels, the Belek exits can be busy, so add a little time. Göynük, just before Kemer, is around 47 km.

The Kemer coast: Kemer, Tekirova and Olympos (55 to 85 km)

Heading west and south of the city, the coastal road curves along the foot of the mountains toward Kemer, its marina and the Tahtalı cable car. Kemer is about 55 km and 50 minutes. Beyond it lie Tekirova (near the ancient ruins of Phaselis) and the treehouse-and-flame country of Olympos and Çıralı, roughly 70 to 85 km out. The scenery on this stretch is some of the best on the whole coast.

The eastern resorts: Side, Manavgat and Alanya (65 to 125 km)

East of the airport, the D400 runs to the ancient town of Side with its seafront Temple of Apollo, around 65 km and just over an hour. Note that most "Side" hotels are actually in the Kumköy, Sorgun and Titreyengöl areas slightly east of the old town, so add five to ten minutes. Further east, Manavgat (river and waterfall) sits around 80 km, and lively Alanya, with its castle and Cleopatra Beach, is the longest of the eastern runs at 125 km and roughly two and a quarter hours.

The Lycian long-haul: Kaş, Fethiye and Kalkan (190 to 220 km)

West along the Teke peninsula are the beautiful Lycian towns of Kaş, Fethiye (for Ölüdeniz) and Kalkan. These are genuine long-distance transfers of three-and-a-half to four hours over winding mountain roads. Many travellers to this region actually fly into Dalaman, but if Antalya is your airport, a private transfer with a comfortable vehicle, a professional driver and a stop for coffee is far more relaxed than wrestling a rental car over unfamiliar mountain passes after a flight.

Why a private transfer time beats the shuttle time

The drive times above assume a direct, private journey. A shared shuttle is priced per seat but costs you time: it waits for other flights to land, then drops passengers at several hotels before yours. A transfer to Side that should take 70 minutes can become well over two hours if you are the last drop after two Belek hotels. With a private transfer, the distance is all yours, the car leaves when you are ready, and it goes straight to your door. That is the core of the private versus shuttle comparison.

What affects your real drive time

• Season. July and August add traffic, especially around Belek and Side on hotel changeover days.
• Time of day. City-crossing routes (Konyaaltı, the western resorts) are slower in Antalya's rush hours.
• Your exact hotel. Large resort complexes can be several kilometres past the town sign.
• Flight delays. With us this is not your problem: we track your flight and the driver waits free for up to 60 minutes.

What is included in the fixed price

The prices in the table are for the whole vehicle, not per person, and they are final. There is no meter, no fuel surcharge, no night rate and no separate charge for luggage. Specifically, your fixed transfer price already includes:

• All motorway tolls and the airport pick-up fee.
• Meet and greet inside arrivals, with your name on a sign.
• Live flight tracking and up to 60 minutes of free waiting time.
• Free child and booster seats on request.
• Bottled water and air conditioning on board.

You can pay in cash on arrival (we accept EUR, USD, GBP and TRY) or online by card. Both are equally valid, so choose whatever is easier.

Night arrivals and very early departures

Many holiday flights into Antalya land late at night or leave before dawn. A private transfer does not change price for unsocial hours, and because the driver is tracking your flight, a 02:00 landing is met just as calmly as a midday one. For departures, we build in a sensible buffer: as a rough rule, aim to leave your hotel about three hours before a short-haul departure, plus the drive time from the table above. For the far resorts like Kaş or Fethiye that means an early start, which is exactly when having a booked car rather than a scramble for a taxi pays off.

Groups, families and luggage

One Mercedes Vito seats up to seven passengers with seven large suitcases, which covers most families and small groups in a single vehicle. Larger parties are simply split across two cars at the same fixed per-vehicle price. A sample arrival day timeline

To make it concrete, here is a typical Antalya to Belek arrival:

• Wheels down. Your driver already knows you have landed from the flight tracking.
• 15 to 30 minutes. Passport control and baggage reclaim, which is the real variable at AYT in peak season.
• Arrivals hall. Your driver is waiting with your name on a sign, takes your bags, and walks you to the car.
• 35 minutes on the road. Straight to your hotel on the O-21 and D400.
• Hotel lobby. Under an hour and a half after landing, with no queue and no haggling.

Which terminal, and where to meet your driver

Antalya Airport (AYT) has two international terminals plus a domestic terminal, and which one you use depends on your airline, not your destination resort. For a private transfer it does not matter: you tell us your flight number, and the driver knows exactly where and when to be. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall, on the public side of customs, holding a sign with your name. If anything is ever unclear, you have a WhatsApp number to reach us directly, so you are never left wondering in a strange airport.

Should you book ahead or sort it on arrival?

You can always find a taxi at the rank on arrival, but booking your transfer before you fly is cheaper to your stress levels and usually to your wallet too. Booking ahead locks in a fixed price with no late-night negotiation, guarantees a correctly sized vehicle with child seats if you need them, and means someone is expecting you even if the flight is delayed. It takes about a minute. The one time it really matters is the far resorts and early departures, where a pre-arranged car removes any risk of standing outside your hotel at 04:00 hoping a taxi turns up.
